Autism Spectrum Condition is much more common than many people think…

What is autism?

Autism is a complex neurodevelopmental condition that profoundly affects how autistic individuals perceive and understand the world around them. Living with autism has its challenges, here are a few areas where individuals often find themselves struggling:

  • Interacting and connecting with others can be tough.
  • Sensory integration is a constant battle, as things like touch, noise, smell, light, and colours can be overwhelming.
  • Processing and understanding their own experiences can sometimes be difficult.

Autism isn’t a one-size-fits-all condition. It’s a spectrum, and that means each person with autism experiences it in their own unique way.
