South Derbyshire Neurodevelopmental Hub

What do we offer?

Our South Derbyshire Neurodevelopmental hub is a safe space where fortnightly we offer peer support, accessible activity groups for children and young people that feel right for their level of need, and information about local groups.

The staff at our Hub act as a ‘guide on the side’ to help users access the information and support they need.

Our Hub’s works alongside other services such as the SEND advice line, the ND portal on the Derby and Derbyshire Emotional, Health and Wellbeing website and Derbyshire County local offers.

Who do we support?

There is no need for a specific diagnosis to access our services.

The Neurodivergent Community Hubs are here to help children, young people, and their families who are pre or post diagnosis.

Our hubs provide a range of advice, information, support, and activities in a safe environment that helps people feel part of a wider network.

Neurodivergence – ‘Neurodivergence’ covers a wide spectrum of hidden neurological conditions such as Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Foetal alcohol syndrome, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and social anxiety.
